Diva Drama (a WWE Diva story)
It wasn’t easy having the WWE camera on you 24/7, but now the Divas had even more to deal with. E!’s cameras taped then for a brand new show entitled, Total Divas. It revolved around the real lives of the most interesting WWE talent. Naomi, Cameron and the Bella Twins were joined by Summer Rae and Paige in the cast. Until one day when Summer and Paige were too sick to be taped. A few strings were pulled which introduced two brand new cast members. “Uh you do know I’m a boy right?” Jaime asked the producers. “We don’t care” they responded, “you’re as close enough!” Jaime was paired with his best friend Hope. They weren’t wrestlers at all, in fact Jaime was a manager and Hope was an executive photographer. But both had even featured heavily on the show anyway.
The camera crew plopped the duo down in a room with The Funkadactyls and The Bella Twins. And that’s where the drama ensued….well it was supposed to. “Can I borrow your mirror?” Nikki asked sweetly. Hope smiled and scooted over. The two shared the mirror like best friends. “Does this look good?” Naomi asked. “It’s slammin’ boo” Jaime grinned. Cameron and Brie even helped each other into their evening dresses.
“Cut! What the hell? Where is the tension?” The producer asked. The cast exchanged looks. No one really spoke up or batted an eye. “We are best friends. We don’t have tension” Cameron replied. The crew knew there had to be something to turn the six besties into snarling beasts. “I’ll be right back” a camera man announced. He darted into the hotel hall and frantically searched the WWE’s male roster. “I need a guy” he yelled. Several turned their attention to the camera man. He looked the WWE superstars over and found his victim. “You! Yes you, come with me.” An innocent young wrestler felt his arm being pulled. He was being dragged down the hall to the divas room. Soon he was shoved in…and the drama finally began.
“Turn those recorders on!” The middle aged producer demanded.
“Hiiiii Matthew!” The entire cast cooed. Matthew Korklan, aka Evan Bourne, was confused. He innocently shrugged, “what am I doing here?” He asked in a small timid voice. Before he knew it he was being mobbed.
“Does this dress look good?”
“How’s my hair?”
“Am I a summer or a fall?”
“Date me!”
“Kiss me!”
“Be my boyfriend Evan!”
Jaime shoved Nikki, “he said he’s going out with me.” “Nu uh he didn’t even reply! Did you Matty?” Nikki pouted. Cameron and Naomi threw their coats over Hope and darted toward Evan. Brie kindly removed the heavy jackets. “Thank you” Hope replied before being shoved into a closet. “Pick us Matt! Take us to the E premier tonight” Brie said quickly. Jaime ran to the closet to let his best friend free.
Evan backed himself into a corner and forced a grin. “What do you want Brianna?” He asked. “I want you to accompany my sister and I to the big premier tonight” Brie stated again. “He’s taking us!” Cameron insisted. He grabbed Evan into her arms and kissed him sweetly. He tried to fight away but he was stuck.
The producer smiled to himself. In seconds the five girls and boy had taken each other apart. This was the kind of entertainment he wanted. Meanwhile, Jaime finally unlocked the closet only to have Naomi shut and lock it again. The two stared each other down. “Okay cut! Bella girls! You two dancer chicks! Hurry down to the confessional room” a camera man directed. Brie hopped into we jeans and snapped her head toward Evan. “Remember…pick us” she kissed him. “Twin magic” Nikki kissed him also.
Naomi and Cameron hugged Evan, “take us! We’re wearing white so try to match us!” The two demanded of the young man. Finally the crew was gone and only Evan, Jaime and Hope were left. Jaime finally got his friend out of the closet. They hugged and fell to the floor. “All of our stuff!” Jaime sighed looking at the mess. “All of our friends” Hope said angrily, “what got into them?”
“You know I like Matt but if never fight you for him.”
“I like him too, and I’d never fight you.”
They hugged again. “You do know I’m still here” Evan pried himself out of the corner. He helped pick up some of the mess that had been made. “I’d love it if you two would let me accompany you to the premier” he said shyly. “I really…really like you two” he grinned. Evan’s soft hands reached for Jaime and Hope’s hands. “Matt, are you flirting with the both of us?” Hope asked. Evan blushed and gave a boyish grin. “I donno” he replied like a kid. The two besties gave it a little bit of thought. “Yes. You can take us tonight. But you have to help us with something” Jaime insisted.
Together the three hatched a plan to bring peace among the cast again. But before that could happen…
Premier night…3 pm
Brie and Nikki snuck into Jaime and Hope’s luggage. The two were set on making sure no one but them would be going with Evan Bourne. Nikki took a pair of scissors and began slicing into Hope and Jaime’s outfits for the premier. “This’ll fix them up good” Nikki said in a hushed tone. “They’ll never find out it was us” Brie replied. “Cut!” The cameraman said, “you two do know this is being filmed…” The twins looked at him like he was a bug. “They’ll know it was you if they watch” he added.
“If they watch!” Brie snapped.
“Yeah who’s actually gonna watch a reality show starting the WWE Divas?” Nikki chimed in… ;)
Next the Bella Twins found Naomi and Cameron’s beautiful white Vera Wang dresses. They splattered blood red paint all over the gowns. “Matthew is ours tonight! The others will just have to take one of the other boys” Nikki snickered.
Meanwhile Cameron and Naomi had ruined the Bella’s dresses. They took black ink and stamped all over the expensive clothing. They knew the Bella Twins, just like them, always got dressed last. They’d have no time to change before having to leave for the big night. The Funkadactyls laughed as they skippe out of the room.
6:30 pm…
“Oh my gosh! Look at this Nikki” Brie shouted. She held up her dress with a shocked face. “It looks like a librarian went due date crazy on your dress” Nikki laughed. She quickly sighed as she looked at her dress. “Yeah not so funny when its all over your dress too” Brie laughed back.
“Hope! Look at my new Lauren Conrad suit! It’s ruined! I bought this from Lauren herself” Jaime said angrily. “My dress is sliced up the back too…I smell something on it…it’s Taylor Swift hand lotion” Hope said as she fumed with frustration. “The Bella Twins!” The two friends said in unison.
Hope began searching for another dress. “No! We will proudly wear our cut up outfits. It’s out fashion statement” Jaime insisted. Hope felt awkward but agreed to wear her dress with the revealing slits. “Wear nothing underneath it” Jaime demanded. “I won’t do that! My butt would show!” Hope replied. Jaime helped create Hope a pair of sexy dark pantyhose to wear with it. “There…we look amazing” Jaime examined their looks. When Evan walked in he was speechless. Both of his dates looked like a cross between models and Marvel superheroes. “Your outfits are so unique” he said thoughtfully. “Well you can partly thank the Twins for that.” Jaime smiled, “more importantly, are you ready to set out plan in motion?” Evan shrugged, “I don’t know if I can do this. Especially to you two.” He sighed but ultimately he was ready to comply with the plan.
7:00 pm…. 1 hour until the premier…
Naomi and Cameron strutted down to the lobby. They actually liked the unique look of their red splattered dresses. They had even found red clutch purses to go along with the look. Soon they were joined by the Bella Twins who proudly displayed their fashions for the night. They topped off their skirts with black fedoras and matching ties. “Haven’t you heard? The splatter look is out” Brie informed. “But the ‘postcard’ dress is in” Nikki snapped. They twirled showing off the black inked dates stamped on their white skirts. “It looks like we did each other favors” Cameron replied. “Yeah…but now it’s up to Matty. We all know who he’s gonna pick though” Naomi said proudly.
Hope and Jaime joined the others. They knew they made The Bella’s mad by showing up. “I didn’t expect to see you two” Nikki scowled. Jaime grinned as Evan came up behind them. “After alot of thinking I know who I’m going with…Hope and Jaime” he announced. The two ran over to hug him as he grinned. “Okay now open the door for me. We’re running late. And when we get there someone better get me a water” Evan demanded. Naomi and Cameron crossed their arms and stared on. “Anything for you Matthew” Hope replied. Evan smirked as his dates turned their backs. “Man I’m totally getting lucky tonight” he winked.
“Hey hold up there cowboy” Brie grabbed him. “You aren’t going to treat our friends like that” Nikki said angrily. The Funkadactyls stepped up to the high flying wrestler. “You don’t deserve to take them out tonight” Naomi pushed Evan back. “They’re going with someone with respect for them” Cameron said smiling.
All six of the friends hugged and apologized. The cameramen knew their rivalry angle had ran its course. “Let’s never let a boy come between us again” Brie insisted. “I’m glad we are friends again. Our plan worked” Hope smiled. “We told Matt to treat us like crap. We knew you guys, being our friends, wouldn’t stand for it” Jaime revealed the plan. “We wouldn’t! We are family” Cameron cried a little. Evan smiled as he offered to take the whole crew as dates. “We’ll take you up on that offer…” Brie said slowly. Her eyes meanwhile had spotted another wrestler. A wrestler dressed for the premier with no date at all. He posed like a GQ model in a black tuxedo and a cigar hanging out from his shapely lips. His steely blue eyes seemed to glimmer at the six stars of “Total Divas.”
“Anyone need company for the night?” He asked softly. “Ooooh….Dean Ambrose” the crew swooned. Instantly the six began to bicker again. “Okay y’all know he was asking us right?” Naomi snapped. “But he was looking at me and my sister” Nikki replied. “Well Hope and I have a date but still…Dean asked us FYI” Jaime laughed the girls.
…..and so the drama starts again.
